Outcomes based planning

Increasing third sector organisations are being asked to prove what they deliver for the money that they receive, not only in terms of what they do but what impact their projects are having. Many funders are asking organisations to take an OUTCOMES approach to their reporting. To ensure that Blackpool Third Sector organisations don’t fall behind the TSSP Leadership Group is hosting a 1 day workshop on 10th March at CVS, 95 Abingdon Street, Blackpool, FY1 1PP

This event is identical to the previous session in February and is offered due to extra demand.

Access to the workshop is FREE but places are limited to 15 so please no more than one person from each organisation. Whoever attends should be able to take the information away and implement the model so you need an OUTCOMES CHAMPION who will be responsible for making the model work in your organisation.

This one day workshop is intended to introduce the idea and practice of OUTCOMES based project planning and management to voluntary organisations and will introduce you to the Blackpool TSSP Outcomes model that is being adopted across the town.

At the end of this one day programme you will be able to:

- Demonstrate the need for your project within the wider environment
- Set clear aims and objectives for your project and link these to your objectives
- Understand and demonstrate the difference between OUTCOMES and OUTPUTS
- Design a system for gathering in evidence of your work

The workshop will be facilitated by Neil Colquhoun, Blackpool TSSP Manager and Chief Executive of BW&F CVS. Neil is a registered OUTCOMES CHAMPION for the Charity Evaluation Service as well as being a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management and  has delivered ‘Outcomes’ training to many organisations across the North of England.
